Payroll Giving Scheme

Support any charity tax-free

Morrisons colleagues already donate over £30,000 each pay period to charities through Payroll Giving. It's a simple and cost-effective way to give pre-tax to charity. It also allows charities to plan and budget in advance.

You can support any charity you wish, including Parent Teacher Associations, churches, Scout and Guide groups. And Morrisons make it easier for you, by paying all administration charges so your chosen charity receives your full gift.

How does the tax work?

Your donation is made straight from your gross pay before tax is calculated, so it costs you less. If you pay basic tax and give a suggested amount of £5 per 4-weekly pay period it will actually cost you £4.

This is a voluntary benefit so you can cancel or change it at any time, get in touch with Hands On Payroll Giving who can help with any queries on 01433 651972.

Morrisons has two national charity partners. You can opt to support these organisations, or any other charity of your choice through Payroll Giving

Together for Short Lives is the only charity supporting the UK's children's hospices and families facing the heartbreak that their child will die young. This partnership, which will see Morrisons colleagues and customers aiming to raise £10 million, will raise vital funds for children's hospices across the country, helping families make precious memories and reaching even more families caring for a seriously ill child.

Retail Trust is the only charity that looks after the needs of everyone in Morrisons. If you have something that is causing you worry you can call their free and confidential helpline:
0808 801 0808 or email: helpline@retailtrust.org.uk. See us as your safety net.
