For almost 40 years, people like you have helped us work globally to protect whales and dolphins. We need you to help defend our ocean and the incredible species and individuals who live there by:
- Stopping whaling: Norway’s whale hunt is the deadliest in the world, yet hardly anyone in Norway eats whale meat. We need your help to shift public and political attitudes, equip and connect Norwegian advocates, and build the wave of change that will end the slaughter.
- Ending captivity: Whales and dolphins do not belong in tanks. They are just too large, too social and too intellectually and emotionally complex. Exploiting them for human entertainment must end. We need your help to expose the cruelty, change public perception and persuade businesses and governments to act. With your payroll giving donation, you’ll help ensure that this generation of captive whales and dolphins is the last.
- Creating safe seas: Lost and abandoned fishing gear – known as ghost gear – entangles and kills whales and dolphins long after it is lost, and human noise in the ocean can be devastating for whales and dolphins. We need your help to make it free and easy for fishers to dispose of nets and to persuade governments and industries to reduce harmful underwater noise so that whales, dolphins and porpoises can communicate, feed and navigate safely
